The FFCB and the CFA Prince George teamed up with Odyssey Marketing to shape its 2024–2026 communication strategy and action plan.

OVERVIEW

The FFCB partnered with Odyssey Marketing to evaluate and strengthen its communication strategy. By reviewing its strategy and identifying key areas for improvement, we laid the groundwork for a renewed 2024–2026 communication plan. This new strategy includes updated tools for promotion and engagement, along with a detailed implementation plan and performance indicators to guide future actions and measure success.

The client

The CFA Prince George is a local initiative that aims to welcome, inform, and support French-speaking newcomers in Northern British Columbia. Through its Bienvenue à Prince George platform, the CFA promotes successful settlement and integration while contributing to the economic and cultural vitality of the region’s Francophone community. The team engaged us to evaluate and refresh their communication strategy to boost visibility, strengthen community engagement, and support their ongoing outreach efforts.
 

The challenge

The CFA PG has supported French-speaking immigrants in Prince George, but struggles with limited online visibility and low awareness within the francophone community. Negative perceptions of the city’s safety and the lack of targeted digital content make it difficult to attract newcomers. The CFA PG needed a strategy to boost its online presence, promote the city’s benefits, and position itself as a welcoming hub for francophone immigrants.
